I want to tell my own story
You are curious about telling memories in your own words and want Tellby to contact you when direct storyteller research opens.
Tell my own storyTell your story in your own voice
You do not need to write a memoir or wait for someone else to invite you. Tellby is testing a simple way to begin with one memory, told by speaking naturally.
A first research conversation is designed to take about 10–15 minutes.
Joining is contact interest only. It is not an account, payment or recording agreement.

Both paths matter. Choose the one that best describes who wants to begin.

Tell my own storyYou would like to invite a willing parent, grandparent or older relative and help them keep a story for the family.
Help someone tell theirsOne story at a time
Tellby asks one clear question at a time. You choose what feels worth talking about.
A first research conversation takes about 10–15 minutes. You can pause, skip or stop.
Tellby keeps your voice with a written draft so errors can be corrected before sharing.
Interest is not consent. If Tellby invites you to research, recording and sharing choices are explained separately before anything begins.
Tellby uses a voice interviewer and AI-assisted tools to ask follow-up questions and prepare a draft story from a conversation.
During early research, a pilot-team member may guide or manually support parts of the process. We explain whether anyone will be present or listening before you make a separate recording choice.
Joining the contact list records none of this. If Tellby offers you a research session, these facts are explained again before you decide whether to continue.
Only after separate consent, Tellby records your voice and writes down what was said. The original recording remains the trusted source.
OpenAI supports the live conversation and transcript. AI is then used to help turn the transcript into story material and readable draft wording.
The pilot team may use a consented recording and transcript to prepare a draft. Joining this list does not share a story with family or anyone else.
Before a session, Tellby explains storage, retention and deletion choices. You can read the privacy policy or ask the pilot team before deciding.
Tellby does not sell your data or use family recordings to train general-purpose AI models. Joining gives no permission to use your name, face, voice or story in advertising. Public use would need a separate request and a separate yes. Read the privacy policy.
Clear answers before you join the contact list or consider a later research session.
No. You can join this contact list yourself. It is an interest test, not a self-serve account or a booked session, and Tellby will explain any later research invitation separately.
That is fine. This is a conversation, not a memory test. You can say what you remember and correct a draft afterwards.
No. The original recording remains the trusted source. Joining this list is not permission to copy or imitate your voice.
Joining the contact list shares no story with anyone. If Tellby offers you a research session, the pilot-team access and any sharing choices are explained before separate recording consent.
No. Joining the list only lets Tellby contact you. Recording, processing and sharing are separate choices explained before any research session begins.
We only need your name, email and permission to contact you. Please do not send a story, recording or private family details here.
